Tom Tiffin a Fine Art graduate who has studied to post Degree level in Brighton and Manchester in the Uk and worked in various Fine and Applied art fields since leaving art college.

A self-taught Silk-screen printmaker he started producing his own range of designs and motifs on commercial products such as T-shirts,open edition prints and greetings cards which were sold in London and exported to specialist shops in the USA and in Japan during the 80`s.

Tom produced three issues of his own comic book (B.D.) 'The Big Lift' which was sold and distributed by the Fast Fiction publishing house in London.

Shortly after moving back down south to London he worked as a freelance Illustrator and studying Fine Art Printmaking part-time at the Byam Shaw School of Art and design.

 

In London along with his partner ,now wife,Alexandra,set up the Tiffinwoolf Partnership marketing design and selling their own ranges of handmade greetings cards to major retailers in Great Britain and Europe.

The Tiffinwoolf Gallery was established at this time in Merton Abbey Mills in South London and Tom's Fine Art pieces were sold there and via the website on the internet.

Tom Tiffin exhibited at the open exhibition at Space Studios in London and The September Show,regularly since 1996,in East Sussex in the UK.

Tom and his family moved to Bruxelles in February this year and he has concentrated mainly on his painting work culminating with this exhibition alongside his Belgium alter-ego" Humphrey Hoppe."
